SIT nabs brothers of main accused in JE/AE recruitment scam

Sunday, 12 February 2023 | PNS | DEHRADUN The special investigation team probing the JE/AE recruitment test scam lodged in Kankhal police station in Haridwar district has arrested two brothers of the main accused in the case. The Haridwar senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh stressed that nobody who is guilty in the scam will be allowed to evade the law. According to the police, Sandeep and Amit were questioned regarding the malpractices at the SIT office on Friday. During the questioning, the accused Sandeep confessed to having monitored the candidates who were made to sit in a Dharmshala near Bharat Mata Mandir in Haridwar for copying while accused Amit confessed to having monitored candidates who were made to sit at a location at Hasanpur in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh for copying.
